  • Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

What a year! A World Cup, a home Commonwealth Games and, perhaps to a lesser extent, the MTV Europe Music Awards. The most significant date for me, though, was in September. Saturday at the Ryder Cup! There aren’t many events that could happily have me set the alarm for 4.30am and arrive at a very chilly golf course, still in the dark, for 6.30am. It’s an amazing event. The atmosphere is incredible and it’s something that can only be properly appreciated if in attendance. Without doubt my highlight of the year.

It’s been an exciting year for Creative82 too. We’ve developed some lovely identities and worked with some great ‘old’ clients as well as some amazing new ones. It’s a great pleasure to be allowed to shape brands and be creative every day. Thank you!

We hope you have a very peaceful and relaxing Christmas and we’ll see you 2015!

  • Dinner is served!

A lovely wee job this one. We were asked to put together an invite and ticket for an outreach event organised by Bellevue Chapel in Edinburgh. Using a font called ‘Lunchbox’ we created this fun but elegant design. The Dinner is being held at the Roxburgh Hotel and promises to be a fantastic night.

  • A1 Route Map

Working again with the good people at Development Trusts Association Scotland we created and produced this fantastic route map workbook. The map is a fantastic tool to help community groups navigate the various stages of a community asset project. The map is A1 size, folded to A3 and comes supplied with its very own toy car!

Printed on a smooth 150gsm uncoated stock it is easy to write on and allows the user to add notes as they progress ‘along the route’.

  • A massive thanks!

I’ve just finished these lovely thank you cards following a fantastic birthday. A massive thank you to my wonderful family.

  • Get me to the church on time!

    Invite
    Order of Service

We were absolutely delighted to be asked to design and produce wedding invites and an order of service for Douglas and Jo’s big day. We love the elegant thistle combined with simple typography. The stationery was printed full colour on a lovely ‘laid’ stock.

  • Christmas is coming!

    Bellevue Christmas Material
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat…..

Bellevue Chapel are well prepared this year. We’ve just finished and handed over their Christmas publicity material. Traditionally, the rush for Christmas material starts around the 3rd or 4th of December, with clients rushing around compiling copy, finalising events and sorting catering right up to the print deadline. Bellevue Chapel contacted us in October with a schedule of events all ready to go. It made creating their Christmas material a joy with there being plenty of time for creative development and client engagement. The result is a suite of promotional material that both we and the client are delighted with. Now, time for some Christmas shopping.

  • Inspiring a generation

I think it’s fair to say we all enjoyed the Olympic games. We’ve also the benefit of it starting again with the Paralympics. The phrase that underpinned the Olympic bid all those years ago was ‘Inspiring a generation’. I believe we’ll see an increase in kids and adults taking part in sport over the next few months but whether it will last beyond the winter…we’ll see. I thoroughly enjoyed the Olympics and was glued to the TV almost every evening.

My reason for posting was to highlight that the Olympics has not only inspired many to ‘get up and get active’ but they have influence and inspired work. Shown here is a project we’ve just finished. I think I watching a medal ceremony at the time…..‘Inspiring a generation’.
